A very moving story behind this wedding…just months before their original wedding date last October, Shawn was hit by a drunk driver on his motorcycle, and tossed off an overpass 30 feet down into shrubbery. He broke countless bones, and was given a slim chance of survival by doctors. Shawn Cowie is a NHRA world championship contending top alcohol dragster driver, and was on his way to his most successful season before the accident. Through numerous surgeries by some of the best doctors in the nation, and the undying support from Taylor and families, Shawn has made a remarkable recovery. Less than one year later, he walked down the isle, danced with his wife, tossed the garter, and thoroughly enjoyed this special day.
